Default Full length mirrors: help on finding a good one!

I`ve never had one (was kinda freaked out by mirrors as a child haha), but now I find it really annoying to not be able to see my entire outfit from head to toe (esp. important because I can`t see my shoes!!). Does anyone know what sorts of features to look for in oneÉ

I would like one that`s free-standing because my walls are pretty much impossible to drill through. Wooden frame, very simple. Preferably under $200É I saw some in the Ikea website, has anyone had experiences with thoseÉ Basically, I just want a full length mirror that`s not too un-wide (I want to see the whole body, so not one of those decorate hallway mirrors 4 inches wide) and hopefully won`t break for no reason. TIA!

PS: I don`t know why my question marks won`t show up, or my quotation marks..

I need one too. The ones at Ikea are really nice and will show your whole body - including shoes!

Check out CB2 (it's the cheaper sister company of Crate and Barrel). I got mine from there for around 100 I think.

I got mine from Wal-mart for super cheap. I'd suggest looking there!

I got one from a mirror company cut to fit and installed on the back of my bedroom door. It was about 220? I LOVE IT!!

Some are lightweight enough that you might not need to drill deeply into the wall to mount.

I prefer wall-mounted ones as free-standing ones often need to be tilted up...very misleading unfortunately!

Thanks for the replies! Now another question: where do y'all put your mirrors? In your rooms? Facing where? I think it would freak me out to see something moving out of the corner of my eye every time I'm in my room.. o.o

As for the wall mounted ones: they need to be drilled into the walls, right? Or, the mountings/fixtures do. Maybe I can find one that sticks haha

I think it depends on where you want to put it. If you want it hidden in your bedroom, then go for the cheaper mirror, like Wal-Mart or Target(I bought one there for $10.00!). If you want it in the living room or somewhere that guests will see, I would suggest spending a little more money, I have a nice sized mirror in my den(not living room, but like a sitting room) I got it at Bed Bath & Beyond for like $140.00 and its beautiful. Everytime someone comes over, they compliment on it!

Good luck!

I have bought a couple full length nice mirrors from TJ Maxx for between $80-$140. They are full length mirrors, I think one is a 6' and one is about 7' both with nice frames.
