Um... I have to pick a FEW?!
My mom has a lot of antique and vintage purses. She really likes the mesh ones from the 1920s. Someday I'll find a vintage chanel for myself.
My mom and I both love vintage clothes. I have a vintage prom dress from the 1950s (blue toile) that she bought on
eBay for herself. It didn't fit her so I took it! I will totally take some pictures of it. I'm going to wear it to my senior prom.
I've got a lot of vintage hats, furs, and coats. I once bought two coats at an estate sale for $15. Both are wool. One is like a trench coat and is camel-colored and the other is almost military style and is a light greyish lavender. I have a couple victorian pieces as well... I'm proud to say that I also restored a bodice. I should pull it out again and check it over and perhaps take some better pictures... these are over 2 years old.

It's not practical but it was a bargain at $15. The ladies running the estate sale said that it had fallen apart but when I looked it over that clearly wasn't the case. They just couldn't put the right snaps to the right snaps.
I have a lot of hats. I wish I had some pictures of my favorites handy but I can't find them. I'll take some later on. I do have a picture of one of my most comfortable and warm hats.

I may live in california but nothing keeps the frost off my ears like my black rabbit ushanka hat.
My best find is probably my Versace dress. It's not very old, per se, but it hails from the late 80s. It's wool crepe. I found it at my favorite thrift store, Thrift Town. It was priced at $40 but I got it for $20 as pink-tagged items were half off that day. I couldn't believe my freaking luck! I wasn't quite sure what I was going to wear it (winter formal? Prom? Everywhere?) but when I brought it home, I knew I had my graduation dress. my mom had been telling me that I shouldn't feel like I had to buy my grad dress secondhand because we were consolidating bills... but when I showed her the dress she couldn't believe it!
That Lanvin dress is beautiful!
