Mine would be this coat I got off ebay (still some left though it seems) I wear it when I am feeling very lush :)

These are some fantastic finds! I love the classic looks, some things never go out of style.

I need to post some pics but I've been getting into buying vintage furs. I'm not a big fan of fur and I wouldn't buy anything new but I figure getting it used isn't as bad.

One of my best deals is an black Otter shawl for $2 at a garage sale. It's so soft and looks like something a movie star would have worn in the 50ies. I'm not sure but I don't think your allowed to hunt otter anymore. They are such cute little guys I hope not.

I decided to resurrect this thread, because I have pictures of my vintage Lillie Rubin dress I found a while back! I was so excited when I found this on the rack of a local Goodwill for around $15! I had never heard of Lillie Rubin before, but apparently she is a fairly well-known vintage designer. Unfortunately the dress is too small on me to wear it around, because it won't zip, but really I'm just happy to have it as a display piece and as photography costuming!

I have several other vintage pieces I love, I'm really attracted to vintage accessories though mostly. However, I would absolutely love to buy some 50's day dresses to wear on a regular occasion. I absolutely love vintage, and I can't think of anything more fun and unique!

Queenkitty...does that Lillie Rubin dress have feathers at the bottom??? It is unbelievable, fantastic, drop dead gorgeous!! I love it!!

I have a gorgeous Rubin top that I got at (where else) Buffalo Exchange!! I will take pics soon! Glad to see this thread again...I had forgotten about it!
