I don't read fashion magazines at all. All of them (vogue, bazaar, w etc) are forced to use the clothes provided by their advertisers. That's how they get the ads, which is how they get the money to pay for Kate Moss and cocaine (nothing against Kate I think she is very nice). All of those magazines are basically just one big ad, and for effing ugly clothes usually, too.

Bazaar used to be my favorite. Over the years, I think their articles have really gone down hill. When people like Rita Wilson and Ashton Kutcher are writing fashion articles, WTF? Seriously, reading their articles is so painful. I actually feel embarrassed FOR them. I still get Bazaar, but these days I must say that Vogue is my favorite. The fashion articles are in depth, have some actual perspective and don't make me cringe. Glenda Bailey of Bazaar, if you see this, get rid of the "celebrity" fashion writers, please! I also get InStyle, Marie Claire, and Lucky. Then again, I am a fashion junky!

Default My 30 year Fashion Magazine Addiction

I subscribe to French Elle (weekly), L'Officiel de la Mode et la Couture (monthly), American Bazaar, and American Marie-Claire. I regularly purchase French Vogue, American Vogue, Allure, French Glamour and French Marie-Claire. When I was a teenager in the 80's I used to buy Italian "Donna" but I don't know if that exists anymore. I love Tatler and Harper's and Queen and Town & Country. I have been addicted to fashion magazines for 30 years! Oh, and when I'm in the States I love that little People Style or whatever it's called that you get at the grocery store, just full of good sense and Old Navy style. Heaven help me!!!

US Vouge and UK Elle. I think they're the most fashion forward/innovative magazines on the newsstands. Even if I can't afford everything in Vouge or Elle, I like to look and get some style inspiration
