do you do UGGS in the summer?

I'm curious to know if anyone thinks that wearing UGGS is actually fashionable with short shorts/skirts and if you wear UGGS in the summer?

I've heard alot of different opinions, but I want to know tPF's

So, do you wear UGGS in the summer?
- If not, why not?
- If you do, I want to know, how do you handle sweating

*Because I love my UGGS, they are super comfy, but even wearing them at 6am in the morning (when the sun ISN'T out yet) I already feel my feet heating up. I want to know how girls who wear it in the heat survive...

Hi annaversary...I also live in the los angeles area and see tons of people wearing thier uggs with shorts/short skirts...I dont know how though ... I LOVE my UGGS but find them just too hot if it above 75 or so.. I wear them all thru the winter when its a little chilly or at night ...but when we hit spring and it starts getting hotter I have to put them away.

My UGGS stay in the back of the closet until it gets cold outside. In my opinion, wearing them in the summer just doesn't make sense...

Noooo. I live in New England and only wear them in the cold. I know they are designed to keep you cool in the summer, since it's sheepskin, but they get really hot and they look weird in the summer, too.

Girls in LA used to do it all the time, but personally, I don't think you should ever wear Uggs unless it's snowing.

I've a pair of Koolaburra's (bought in Australia so the real deal) and I wear them as slippers about the house all year round - in fact, I've got them on at the moment! They are lavender and a darker purple and just so comfy for slobbing about the house..

Don't wear them outside though - unless it's in the garden and they are the shorter version...plus I live in Scotland where the hottest day is 24 degrees and it's normally 12-14 degrees c!

[I've a day flexi so drinking tea / munching chocolate digestives and watching the TV with the dog!

I don't understand wearing uggs with mini skirts - as my supervisor says: just pick one! are you cold or hot?

Well, given that I'm in the UK and our summers can be terrible (rain & cold weather), I would wear Uggs in the summer. Only if the weather wasn't nice. If it was warm/sunny then definitely not. I don't think they look nice with miniskirts or shorts, its tacky IMO. I wear them with jeans and sweats.

I wear my uggs in the winter only, since we have a real winter here in Kansas by the time it is warm I want to wear sandals & flip flops. Summer here can be super hot, 90's in the day & 70's at night, so there is no need for warm boots!

It must be a SoCal thing. My daughter and her friends wear them during summer, winter, it doesn't matter.

I don't have Uggs boots, but do have the slippers. I wear them around the house all the time.
