I am a flats girl to begin with, but I'm thinking that in general skinny colored jeans look better with flats? Or does it not matter? The colored jeans I got are a plum purple.

Hmm depends on the shoes, but I guess in general I agree, flats look better

I find myself wearing my flats much more often this spring!

I agree- Brooklyn Blonde has impeccable taste and she wears all her colored jeans with heels. That said- I think for day time lunch, shopping, errands..etc flats seem more casual.

Maybe, depends on where you are going for lunch or shopping. The OP asked if in general do flats look better with colored jeans. I personally do not find that to be true....especially if you're not very tall.

Nice pics!! yea I totally agree with you. I am short as sh*t and I don't even own a pair of flats.
Even my thong sandals have a slight wedge
But I don't know in general though on taller women and perhaps I am dreaming of one day having the courage to; A. wear red jeans & B. wear flats. Daytime flats would be nice.

I think that it's not really about what looks "better" with colored denim (because both flats and heels look great) - it's more about what you're doing/where you're going. During the day, I think that flats are generally more appropriate, but in the evening, I prefer the look with heels.

I know! I try to copy many of her looks. I adore her style!

Wendy's Lookbook is a really great fashion blog too. She pairs heels with colored skinny jeans a lot too.
