Default BIG sunglasses....classic or trendy?

OK so i know big sunglasses are normally seen as a trend, but my question is have they become a classic? Jackie O and Aubrey Hepburn sported them way back when, and now they have been in style for a few seasons in a row.

Are they making their way to the classic end of the fashion spectrum?

I own a pair of Dior Glossy's and have been wearing them for 3 years...and i don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

I'd love your opinions

classic. definitely.

When big sunglasses were first introduced a few years back, everybody thought it was a trend. I've noticed it hasn't really subsided.

Heck I just bought a pair of Chloe myrtes, and i LOVE them!

I think they're classic - look at Jackie O and her big glasses. This was all going on way before we came around! I think smaller shapes will come and go as far as stylishness, but big sunnies are like aviators - always a good bet.

I think they are classic. I see so many people wearing big sunglasses. I have a pair and I love them.

Classic. I just find that larger sunglasses look better on my face, so even if they were considered trendy, I'd keep wearing them

Classic - as long as they don't overwhelm the face. They need to be proportional.

I think they're amazing and deffo a classic.
I look back at the smaller Chanel rectangular sunglasses I used to wear and this 'ewww'. I love the big sunglasses, they're great for a laid back look and even better for hangover days.

Classic, unless they are a too large a frame or a non-classic frame like a shield or something.

I think they're going to be around for a long time. I like the look but personally, I don't have a pair because I have quite a small face and nose and find that even the smallest of the big sunglasses is just too overwhelming - makes me look clownish instead.
