Question Big belt buckles in or out?

I have a collection of belts with big heavy buckles (vintage, cameo, ornament,etc.). They are the ones that sometimes cut into you when you sit down. I wear jean and t-shirts mostly when the weather gets cooler in the fall. Are these belts not the style anymore? Do they still show tuck-in shirts with jeans? I saw a great skinny reversible Tory Burch belt in a catalogue but it looked dressy. What works for "casual"?

How about wearing it "outside" of the tee shirt. I mean not in the belt loops, but over the Tee shirt, or top slung low on your hips?

I'm not in to big buckles. The one exception is a belt I have from Anthropologie that is completely adorable. It has an owl buckle that looks like it's made of mosaic tiles, but it's not that big and doesn't stick out very far. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it!

Just saw Jessica Sinpson wearing one on the cover of September issue of "Elle". She has it on with a red flannel shirt tucked into jeans. So I will hold on to my big belts!

The waist is here to stay and what joy with these delectable belts. Buckle over a cardigan or coat to achieve that 50’s hourglass or use simply to hoist up jeans – the new boyfriend cut loves a statement belt

I like these belt and they are IN still and now!!!

OH Babevivtan, I love your belts !! beautiful colour!
