I'm going to a friend's sweet sixteen, it's at an upscale restaurant around here and it's more of a dinner party/sleepover than a dance party. There's only like ten of us going. But anyway, my dress is teal, strapless, and pretty short. It's cold so I want to wear tights with it, I also think my legs look better in tights. I'm wearing black shoes and I think black tights on black shoes might be a little boring, so I was thinking these tights in the Wild Dove color. But do they look like I'm going to a disco? Do they actually shimmer and sparkle in real life or are they just satin-ish/sheen? Also would they be okay to wear with a teal dress and black shoes or should I just stick to black...?

OP, I have a few pairs of these tights from AA and they do have a little bit of shimmer/sparkle in them(not the material, just an overall sheen..and not giant bits of sparkle)...as for the wild dove color, I think maybe a basic black would be better with the outfit you described...your legs might look like platinum if you get the wild dove, hehe

^ Yeah, that's what I was a afraid of. I think I'll try them out, but I'll probably end up wearing black.

i would probably go with the black too, because you don't want to look *pale* in white tights.. and the black is not so dark, so it wouldn't blend to badly with black shoes.
