what would a size 24 in denim be?

would that fit me? i am a size zero..

this doesn't actually mean 24 in women's sizes, right?

Size 24 means a 24 inch waist. I'm a size 0/00 and sizes 24/23 usually work for me.

Yeppers, and a lot depends on the brand and your body.

I have a 25 inch waist but 37 inch hips, which apparently aren't meant to go together in the minds of fashion designers! I could never get a size 25 past my thighs.

I'm between a 23/24. But it really depends on the jeans. I fit some size 0 and some size 00.

Depends. My waist is 26, hips 36 and I've tried on size 24 that are too big for me in the thigh and hips but fit at the waist. My hip and thigh proportions are somewhere between junior and misses, but in terms of fit I have better luck with junior sizing. Miss Sixty Jeans fit me well. American high end jeans are usually too big for me in the thigh and hips. I find them to be cut larger in general for my proportions than European denim.

I usually wear 0-3 in pants, depending on the brand.
