Default 7FAM sizing

I haven't purchased jeans in about 3 years. ANyway, I tried some 7FAM at TJmax in size 27. I now see a pair on eBay, does this mean all size 27's will fit in that brand? The item is returnable but rather not go through the trouble if I don't have to.

I think they are pretty TTS. The only pair I found that were not (ran large) were the Gingers. Other than that, I've worn the same size consistantly.

I think it varies style to style -- I'm a 25 in the classic Seven bootcuts but not in other sizes.

I think I'll just have to visit store again.. I went to NM site and it said 27 was like a 4, 28 is a 4/6 and 29 a size 6. Usually I wear a 6, ocassionally a 4. This whole 24,25 etc. confuses me a little.

i think each pair run a little differently. sometimes i'm a 24, sometimes i'm a 26. and sometimes the waist fits strange, so i never buy jeans online. always gotta try em on!

Yeah I agree. The sizing is not consistent across the styles. For example, I wear one size in the bootcut and a different size in the DOJO. I would recommend trying them on in a store to figure out your size for each style.

Agree that it depends on the style and the wash of the jean. For example I am a def. 26 in A Pockets, a 26 or a 27 in Signature Boot cuts, but a 28 in Dojos!!! There are some great websites that can help you with sizing according to cut and wash. PM me if you're interested.

I wouldn't maybe go by this, it all depends on your body shape, and I think they may run TTS, but could vary based on some cuts. My legs are bigger and even 15 lbs. lighter than I am now, I still wore the same size in jeans.

I think each style will fit a little differently. I've heard the A pockets run a size smaller, though I've never tried them.

it varies mostly by wash, although most pairs i have had fit true to size. even though there are some variances, i find that seven has the most consistent sizing out of all premium denim brands (my opinion).

do you know what wash you tried on, and what wash you are thinking of purchasing?

I think that their sizing is very inconsistent. I have about 7 pairs of 7FAM jeans and they all are sized very differently. I have anywhere from a 25 to a 28. I would say that you definitely need to try the on.
But, if you are buying from eBay, I would ask for the measurements and compare those to a pair of jeans you already have to see if they will fit. It always works for me. :)

The ones I tried on were capris, not sure what you would call the wash, faded and a frayed look. In fact the back pocket had a small hole. They fit perfectly then when I got to register wasn't sure if this was the wash I wanted. I really wanted something not so worn so didn't get. Thats when I started searching eBay. I could of sworn the ones I tried were 27.

Sounds like maybe a Nakita wash. I found mine to be pretty true to size. Does the bottom of the crop have a slight flare? If so that's the cropped Dojos. I have to size up in this style since the waist rise is higher.

Just a heads up...I was at Nordies a few days ago buying a pair of crop pants, and was talking to the SA about sizes. She told me that the regular Nordstrom stores will sent jeans that are sized wrong right away to NR or TJs. I am still don't fully understand how they figure this out
