Default Who wants my secret recipe?!?

This is how I make a "gourmet" grilled cheese!

First, take two slices of wheat bread, and slather butter on the sides that will be facing out...

then take some cheese, swiss or mozzerella is best and put it on the inside... I like alot of cheese, so I use alot

then add some garlic and misses dash, and begin cooking.

when the outsides have turned the shade of brown you want, take from shredded mozzerella and put it on the top and flip, let that side cook until the chesse is cooked to the bread, not burnt, but crispy!

do the same to the other side...

And there you have it! A louislover grilled cheese!

lol I love this sandwhich, and just had to share!

Ooooh good idea! Usually I press parmesean (sp?) cheese on the buttered side of the bread before I throw it all in the pan and it gets nice and crispy. I'll have to try this trick!

I used to use one of these to make grilled cheeses:

OMFG.... the cheese on the inside got super hot and gooey and the press sealed the edges of the bread together and they got all nice and crispy especially if a little cheese leaked out! It's probably a good thing I don't have this little appliance anymore!
