What is your favorite kitchen gadget/small appliance?

My toaster !! It has removable grills, for sandwhiches, a plain pancake one, a griddle for meats and fish and a waffle.

Pressure cooker is great too. Need to get a new one though.

Juicer - I love healthy juices, carrot, beet, celery..etc.

My food processor. I love this thing.

the first time I used it, I shredded carrots for a thai dish. It took a couple minutes to shred all I had to - just the right size. Would have taken me forever by hand, not to mention the possible cuts I would have gotten. I was so thrilled, I took the bowl to show my boyfriend, and he laughed at me!

I love kitchen gadgets, and have a ton of 'em.

My pampered chef food chopper
Kitchenaid coffee grinder
This little finger peeler we got at the mall.
14 inch anolon skillet pan - best big pan ever!

#1 favorite thing is my Brita pitcher.

Le Creuset 9 qt. dutch oven. Stovetop to oven to fridge...it's the best. Pricey but worth evey penny and will last a lifetime. Don't get sucked into buying cheaper versions by other companies. I've made that mistake.

Also, as pp's have noted, Kitchenaid mixer. Hubby bought me a gorgeous fire-engine red one with the switch that raises/lowers the mixing bowl--I think it's the 575watt, 5 quart model.

My bamboo cutting board, I love salads and vegetables. I too love my George Foreman grill, makes the perfect grilled chicken.

Love my heavy skillet--non-branded, from a restaurant supply store. Cooks better than my all-clad.

I also love our toaster oven!

My kitchen would not be complete without:
- good knives
- a million cutting boards, I tend to use a lot of them while cooking, I like the thin flexible ones (easy to store, too)
- a variety of pots and pans- big stock pots, small saucepans, huge skillet, med and small ones, etc.
- food processor! love that thing
- panini press, you can also use it to grill meat and veggies
