I understand you on this one. I have to use skim milk in everything, but I will not drink milk alone. My parents never could understand the reasoning.

My DBF has a phobia of white foods. You know, milk, sour cream, cream pie filling, etc. He says it stems from one day in the cafeteria when he was 6 and he was so thirsty he chugged a little carton of milk without even realizing it had gone RANCID and was chunky. After vomiting sour milk everywhere, he still to this day (24 years later!) will NOT drink milk, can't be near a glass of milk, and can only eat sour cream if he doesn't look at it. I'm not kidding - how bizarre?!

I don't really like milk that much, but I looooove cereal, so it's a necessity - he gets freaked out if he sees the milk in the bowl.

My sister's husband also has a thing against white condiments....but I think it has to do with that whole "Something about Mary" issue.

Celery..yucky yucky
cottage cheese- TERRIBLE!
Ricotta- only in italian dishes but not itself
I'm crazy about the sell by dates on all milk products. Even if it's 2-3 days before the date I usually will throw it out which is why I buy small cartons.
Don't usually eat meat or pork because I don't like the taste. Depends on the situation but I prefer turkey, chicken or fish.

and Halodniya which is a russian bone marrow dish... my fiance LOVES it..makes me sick just to think about it.

Octopus. Just the tentacles scare me to death. I could literally eat most common seafoods except this one. Oh, and blood, liver, and whatever nasty stuff the Vietnamese put into their noodle soups. Ugh.

meat (except seafood. yum)
milk/cream
butter
mayo
processed cheese (usually in shades of fluorescent orange )
anything that has hydrogenated oils in the ingredients list
french fries (most deep-fried things for that matter)
yellow bananas (i only like green ones..)
ripe fruit
soda
maraschino cherries
milk chocolate (the darker and more bitter the better)
egg yolks (love the whites though)

most of this list stems from me being diagnosed with high cholesterol when i was a kid. i guess i've become a bit of a health nut, which gives me some weird looks considering i go to school in the south and most of my fellow college students survive on beer, fried chicken, pizza and ramen.
