Tonight, unhealthy!

Organic Chanterelle mushroom and ricotta ravioli with a European heavy cream/European butter parmesan cheese sauce with portobella mushrooms and a bunch of fresh parsley. So bad, but sooo good!!!

Sauteed onion and crimini mushrooms in olive oil with cut up campari tomatoes and fresh basil over pasta......with shrimp. My husband loved it! Served it outside on our pool deck under the stars with some red zin.

Last night was a group effort. We sauteed up some lean ground beef (from Trader Joe's) with onion, garlic and tomatoes- seasoned with thyme, sage, salt, pepper and fresh ground parmesan and then put into beggar's purses made of filo dough and baked. With a side salad...mmmmmmm........

love being a new mom
I baked a two tier cake for my husband and it was my first time. Well it didn't cool down as much as I thought it was going to and it was really hard to put the icing on. So the icing is mostly in the middle and hardly on the top. Long story short, my husband burst out laughing at the final product which is something to behold. He grabed his camera to take a photo of my cake to send to his mom. LOL. I'm not a baker but a good cook.

Oh and I made rice with chicken and noodles.
