I do all of my shopping at Trader Joe's! It's the best! We just moved from CA to MD, and one of my stipulations for moving was we had to have a Trader Joe's nearby.

My favorites:
-Fage yogurt (I like the 2%)
-organic fat free milk (cheaper than in the regular store)
-organic free-range eggs (cheap!)
-Kashi Go Lean Crunch (again, cheaper than regular stores)
-frozen spinach artichoke dip
-pumpkin bread/cake mix (this is seasonal)
-Empire kosher whole chickens
-frozen wild Pacific salmon (I can't find wild Pacific salmon ANYWHERE in MD, so I get it frozen at TJ's)
-the frozen shrimp stir fry meals for 3
-frozen low fat chicken "fried" rice
-frozen individual steel-cut oatmeal
-the antiOXidant trail mix
-golden baby kiwis
-Trader Joe's classic hummus
-Fage tzatziki
-tarte tatin (in the baked goods section)
-Blu Italy fizzy water
-blood orange Italian soda (in large bottles)
-frozen margherita pizza
-Laughing Cow Light cheese wedges
-organic vodka pasta sauce
-Mid East Feast packaged lunch (it's a pita, 2 falafel, tabbouleh, tahini, and hummus all packaged up in a lunch box)

I could go on indefinitely...like I said, I do all of my shopping there, produce/food and everything. It's great.

ITA - that Fage yogurt is TDF! And the blood orange soda is so flavorful and not too sweet. Just tried the Chicked Fried Rice and the kids want it again tonight!! So I know where I'm going today.

I have to go look for the individual steel cut oatmeal. I love steel cut but it takes so long to cook!

Thanks for posting!!

My favorite - their pizza doughs! they are TDF and make it so easy to make your own pizzas!
And who can forget their Wosoebe Peanuts!

Hi Maxter- Are you talking about the Bayshore one? That's pretty close to me too.

I love the Baklava, the Banana Crisps, The thin pretzel chips, and a lot of the noodles.

Yep!! I'm actually going to the Brand Spanking New Trader Joes at Bayshore tomorrow with my girlfriends. I'm in Elm Grove so we have to carpool and plan these "long" trips to the East side!!

Hey - aren't you on vacation?? We are freezing here today - single digits next week - Yikes!!

PS. Had a Birkin siting at Grasch's last week. Yes it was real (husband bought it) and she had never heard of tPF. Poor thing. I told her about it and we'll see if she can get online!!

cinnamon sugar pita chips
red panang curry with tuna
general tso's sauce
corn salsa

Yep I'm in Utah, but taking a break today as I overdid it yesterday on the moutain. How nice to see a Birkin in your area, I barely ever see them unless I get together with CXYVR or of course see my own. LOL.

Have fun at TJ's!

maxter -- No problem! Look in the freezer section with the breakfast products...and if they're not out, ask someone if they're in back. I think they go quickly.

One huge bummer about living in MD: Our TJ's doesn't sell alcohol. We have to drive to VA if we want to get inexpensive wine and HONEYBEER!!!

Thanks for the tip.

And WTF is going on with Maryland and alcohol?? I never figured MD to be a dry state!

Thanks, maxter!!

Yeah, Maryland is a little backwards when it comes to alcohol. In our county (Montgomery, which is where Bethesda is located, to give you an idea, and it's the Metro DC area) you can buy beer/wine only from "beer stores," and then you have to buy hard liquor from GOVERNMENT-RUN LIQUOR STORES. When you purchase from the government liquor stores, it says on your credit card statement "government services." So weird. And to make things worse? You're not allowed to have wine shipped to you from in-state OR out-of-state wineries!! Can you believe this?! It's so...backwards!! I grew up and lived in CA all my life, where the only rule is that you can't buy liquor after 2am, so this came as quite a shock. Especially when we lived in Santa Barbara and had access to a zillion awesome wineries...and now I can't get my favorite wines shipped to me because of some silly laws. So we have my in-laws ship us wine in unmarked FedEx containers. Naughty, naughty MPJ.

Besides all that business, Maryland is a very nice state so far! But I do miss my TJ's wine/beer and inexpensive liquor.

Love TJ's and go there at least once a week

- hummus, garlic roasted and tomatoe basil are awesome
- lite cheddar cheese and mozzerella sticks
- small round sesame crackers
- small pitas
- great variety of dark chocolate bars, scharffenberger, valrhone and various varieties, all good
- great cookies, especially anything chocolate chip
- mini pearl tomatoes - best grape tomatoes I can find
- extra lean hamburgers - surprisingly good and low fat
- great cheese selection, have never tried anything bad
