In my opinion Indonesia and Japan have the best tasting snacks. Many Chinese snacks use MSG just a heads up.

Japanese dried seaweed "nori"
Prawn crackers (Indonesian / Japanese / Chinese)
Japanese rice crackers
Chinese dried plums (ask for pitted/seedless) they are individually wrapped like candy with twisted ends, sold in large packets of 50+.
Banana chips (choose Thai or Philippines, their bananas are sweeter)
Freeze dried mushrooms/vegs/fruits (origin is usually China or Taiwan)
Thai "dogsh!t" (that's what it's called in Thai and it's one of their national snack delicacies!)

I recommend these little cakes that are just called "Custard," found in the cookie aisle. I also love the little pineapple cakes, egg roll cookies, and Shin Ramen (it's spicy). Also, usually the produce is a lot cheaper at Asian markets as well.
