I tried one today!

I ordered a Mango Banana with a shot of Matcha. It's a very unusual flavour, like a healthy alternative to a smoothie. If you want something sweet and a tiny bit lighter I would got for a frap. instead of a Vivanno.

The plus side of it is that I was late for a lecture today and didn't have anything to eat, so I grabbed a Vivanno and a burgerto go, started drinking it and I haven't touched my burger since 11! The drink is very filling and would make a good alternative to a small meal!

Its very nice and filling! They are my b'fast. I am glad they are in CA as they have been left out of the last few launches. I had a orange mango banana with matcha this morning at 5 and wasn't hungry again till 1!

Darn it. I was in Sbux earlier today and saw the sign for these new drinks but did't really pay attention. I will have to try one of these.

I had the banana/chocolate one w/ a shot of espresso. I loved it because it was good w/ out being too sweet. It was also pretty filling. They are pretty expensive though. I could duplicate the same thing at home.

I don't drink coffee, which defeats the whole starbuck experience, but I love their growing alternatives too add to my Ice Tea Lemonade and Green Tea Frappuccino.

They're good. I had one today...the Banana Chocolate. And they taste protein bar-ish, because they have Whey protein in it.

Yeah they do have loads of carbs unfortunatly. But they are MUCH better for you than most smoothies.

Banana Chocolate has 270 calories 21g protein 6g fiber

Orange Mango Banana 250 calories 16g protein 6g fiber

If you have a registered starbucks card you can get a free tall of either of the available flavors from July 25 - 26. One per customer (supposedly) and one per registered card.

IDK how that would work b/c the vivanno only comes in one size. The grande (16oz). I know regiestered card holder get perks such as free tall beverages. I unfortunatley am really out of the loop w this program. I'll ask one of my baristars tmrw.

Yum! I work at a local Starbucks as well and I make my Banana Chocolate Blend with soy milk and only two pumps of chocolate(otherwise, I feel it overpowers the banana flavor).. it's delicious! Also, the Orange Mango Banana Blend with matcha powder is pretty darn tasty. :)
