well we do not have a jamba juice but i love jamba juice and i would go there all the time when i lived in san diego

I had the Mango Orange Banana this morning, it was good. Tasted just like a smoothie, but for $4, I can make my own. I was just taste testing! They should come out with a strawberry one or a coconut one though.

I tried one yesterday...banana chocolate with an espresso shot. It was OK. I'm not a big coffee drinker but if I want something like that, I usually go to a little coffee shop nearby. Their drink is called a "Funky Monkey". It's chocolate, bananas and coffee. It's "slushier" and more flavorful, IMO...also cheaper. I'll stick with that but will have the Vivanno again when I go to Starbucks with my friends.

I just had a Mango Banana Vivanno with match powder and it was AMAZING!!! Another combo to try is Banana Chocolate with a shot. Thank god for Holla Back Girl b/c its making all the intracompany emails with banana much easier to spell.

I've had a couple of them and so far I LOVE them! Sooo tasty and a good alternative for when I want something but don't feel like coffee.

I've tried both flavors and really like them both! They're very healthy because of the whey protein and fiber, and I like that they're not super super sweet (I don't like super sweet in the AM). They're definitely great for breakfast, and I can see myself picking one up at least once or twice a week.

My friend came by a couple of days ago and she had just bought one of these things. I didn't know there was a thread here on this or I would have asked her what flavor she had chosen. I had a taste and I really liked it. I try pretty hard not to like Starbucks, by the way and I don't like drinking my calories, but this drink was good. Chocolatey, but not excessively sweet with a nice, unprocessed smoothness to it. I did just look at the calorie value of a grande and for 250-270 liquid calories, I'll have to give this a pass... which is kind of a shame because I liked the taste :)

Glad you're liking them amanda! I have been having them a lot too! They are a great snack/breakfast and I think they are really nice and filling. I think I'll be drinking them for breakfast (and actually have breakfast for a change).

Has anyone tried the new Sorbetto drink they came out with? I read about it a few days ago in the OC Register~ supposedly it's made with frozen yogurt or something like that...I think it's more like the tangy yogurt you can get a pinkberry but in a drink.

I dunno if this drink has rolled out to all the Starbucks yet though.

You're right. Sorbetto is only being test marketed in a few OC stores. It will be rolled out to select starbucks nationwide if it does well. (only stores with enough space and high enough traffic to warrent the HUGE machine). My store most def won't be getting it thank GOD! It takes a hour to clean every night! They are also test marketing a new frappucinno prep method in texas. Any PFers tried it? Thoughts?

The Vivanno sounds yummy! I heard that the chocolate tastes a wee bit like a protein bar, btu I'll have to give it a try before judging!

And the Sorbetto drinks sounds fabulous! Hope they sell well!
I don't drink coffee, which defeats the whole starbuck experience, but I love their growing alternatives too add to my Ice Tea Lemonade and Green Tea Frappuccino.
