I have fun Tupperware pickle holder:




















It doesn't show in this pic, but the center rod is as tall as the container is, and you just pull up on it and the pickles or whatever is in the holder are in easy reach and strained from the juices. It's in the "pulled up" mode in the picture...

The little fork on the left side of the pic actually slides right into the center rod when you're not using it.

Pretty cute, eh?

Usually a fork, but... I will admit I use my hands sometimes to take them out, I just grab the tip of it quickly, it's not like I'm sticking my whole hand in the jar, and I would never touch food if I hadn't washed my hands well prior to it anyway.
