Default Simple Meals For One

What do you eat when you're cooking for only yourself? Can you recommend any simple recipes?

This is what I usually cook when I'm by myself, but I need some more suggestions:

-oven baked macaroni and cheese (takes less than 30 mins, and uses very few ingredients)

-steak grilled on the pan with garlic and butter, and a side of veggies

-beef donburi with fried egg on top

-pan-fried dumplings (not from scratch, lol, they're frozen)

-shake n' bake (just stick it in the oven, no "cooking" required)

This probably isn't much help, but if I were in your position I would cook a whole recipe and then divvy up portions and freeze. I've heard of people doing it before, but I've only frozen homemade soups.

I have this issue. I'm single and I do the left over thing a lot. Lately, I've had no urge to cook and have actually been eating ramen noodles for dinner, like when I was in college. I need to get over the rut!

For single servings, pasta and all types of sauces work well too.

This is a fast, easy, delicious recipe, and a crowd-pleaser, too! Just some garlic, red pepper flakes, spinach, and chopped tomato cooked in olive oil and tossed with pasta (I like to use rotini). It's so simple, but really delicious, cheap, and even vegetarian, if that's an issue (vegan, even). I've cooked a lot of different, more complicated dishes for my roommates, and this is still one of their favorites.
