Thanks for all the pics & links soxfan777! I just love your style!
I have also registered for the KA Artisan in red - my friends call it the kitchen "status symbol" LOL
Your flatware is so gorgeous and timeless! You have great taste!

soxfan - nice stuff!

After reading the Does anyone use sterling silver settings? thread I got out my silver and china. Here are a couple of photos. All of our patterns have been discontinued so my pics are more for fun than a recommendation. (We have been married for a while.) So I would advise don't hesitate to fill out your sets of china and silver if you really like them.

Our china
Set 1: Southern Vista by Lenox

Set 2: Beresford by Wedgwood

The only other thing I could say is regarding china - I wish now we had selected just plain white with maybe a stripe of color on the rim. Although we did see John Gielgud drinking tea from a beresford cup in some movie - after that I didn't want to get rid of it!
Our crystal is Waterford, our everyday china is Fiestaware, flatware is Oneida, and cookware is All-Clad.

You must get Global knives, they are superb! You don't need an entire set, just 3-4 and you will use them all the time.

I have a set of all clad, I really think a lot of people get it for the name. I found that caphalon tri-ply is as good as all clad, at less than half the price. I've actually done tests with both brands, and to me they really are equal.

I have three processors, I have kitchenaid and cuisinart. My large one is cuisinart(better than large kitchenaid), medium sized one is kitchenaid (better than medium cuisinart). I have a small cuisinart that I don't care for much.

Le Creuset is excellent. The pots are so heavy and thick, it's hard to burn anything. Sometimes you can find them on sale on amazon, I got a set of4-5 pans for $220. Happy Wedding!!
