Yup , that always tripped me out when I spent my summers there as a kid.

In Hawaii, our McDonalds have the Local Deluxe Breakfast (white rice, portugese sausage, spam, eggs, hashbrown), Saimin (ramen), and Haupia (coconut) Pie, and Taro Pie. Also, our fruit punch is totally not the same fruit punch as the mainland.

I know BK added spam to their breakfast menus, too.
I miss the Portuguese Sausage Eggs and Rice plate!! Without thinking...when I was in Houston I tried to order it lol...

In the south they have biscuits and gravy on the menu.

Mcdonalds in Hk have some 'seasonal' items... like Shrimp burger, Mcsundae with sesame sauce, Mcsundae with green tea topping & red beans, Mcsundae with Horlick powder, Taro Pie!

We don't have anything special but we have the Croque mcDo at Breakfast. Here in Sweden its called McToast instead but its the same thing. For some odd reason this is the most delicious thing. Crazy addictive.

Taiwan McD have the best spicy chicken burger ever, not like the nasty stuff in USA. TW McD serves hot corn soup, seasonal tararoot pie, grilled rice burger (buns are replaced with grilled crispy rice cakes), and delivery service. I've also seen a mobile McD truck on Yangmingshan (Taiwan's National Park on a mountain), that serves full menu. Can you imagine a portable McD truck pops up in Yellowstone Park?

Not food related but the limited edition toys are also popular among Asian countries. It's like beanie babies boom, adults in TW camp out at the store night before launch just as people do the night before new Apple product release.

My husband and I honeymooned in Kauai and they had "Banana Pies" at their McDonald's -- like the apple pies you find frequently in the mainland. It was pretty good :)

McDonald's in England had Cadbury flurries with the real Cadbury chocolate - not the junk we get in the states

NC had a southern fried chicken sandwich with is similar to Chick-fil-a in composition but not very good.

In my hometown Taco Bell typically launches the new items - crunch wrap supreme, doritos loco tacos nacho and cool ranch. Butler King and McDonalds tend to launch items there as well, not entirely sure why.

Australia has been known for its lamb, so it only natural that McDonald's Australia is planning to debut a "Serious Lamb Burger" next week, reports Burger Business. In addition to a lamb patty, the burger will also have red onion slices, a slice of beetroot, egg, tomato, lettuce and aioli.

Serious burger fiends might notice that some ingredients, namely the beet and egg, are extremely popular burger toppings in Australia. In fact, beets are so popular that Burger Business says when Hungry Jack's (Burger King in Australia) took off a burger with beets, customers were quite unhappy.

While this could very well be a smart move for McDonald's Australia, we wonder if American customers would go for beets on their burger. Could you get behind a burger with beets on it

Hasn't the Serious Lamb Burger been discontinued? I certainly hope so anyway; that thing was all kinds of gross.
