Ok ladies as we discussed in the previous forum we will be starting a kitchen RAOK.
Here are some rules/guidelines:

I think enough people voted 'yes' to start this KITCHEN RAOK!

This RAOK is for Kitchen related products and food products only. You will be buying for your buddy's based on their wish lists on elfster. Please only buy kitchen related products (utensils, kitchen towels, wash cloths, kitchen gadgets, food items, recipe books, recipe cards, cookbooks, magazine subscriptions to cooking magazines, etc…) NO purse items! Be creative ... this should be A LOT of fun!

I'd like to use Elfster because it's so easy. If you've never used it before it's a super website for these kinds of exchanges. You can fill out a wishlist and ask your buddy anonymous questions! Just make sure your tPF name is in parenthesis after your first name on Elfster s everyone knows who you are. Also make sure your mailing address and update your wishlist with kitchen related items.

Sign ups will be now through 7/18 with buddies being assigned 7/21 (I will be going on vacation 7/12-16)… We'll send two packages...one on 8/1 and another on 9/1. Packages should value $30.00 each.

Please PM me your first and last name and the email address you use on Elfster.

When packages are sent please PM me your tracking #.

I'm going to have this RAOK open to people who have only posted 500 posts or have participated in a RAOK. Please do not sign up if you don't think you can fulfill your duties!! If you are going on an extended vacay, or you have a lot of prior commitments then sit this one out.

If there are any other questions, please let me know!

Be sure your shipping address is on Elfster
Be sure your tPF name shows up on Elfster
You will be required to PM me your tracking # on your package no later than the deadline for both months.
You will be required to post pictures of your loot

Any other suggestions please let me know... this is my first time running an RAOK.

Peaches I wont be participating in this ROAK but I would like to help out with it. I see that you havent developed a questionaire for this ROAK. Sternchen made one for the beauty ROAK and it really helped me out when I was trying to buy items for my Beauty buddy.

Would you mind if I made a questionaire and posted it here for everyone to fill out? Just in case someone cant find an item or would like to be a little more creative with their gifts?

If anyone thinks this is a good idea then let me know so I can get started. If not, then I wont complicate things ;]

I think you can check mark something so only your buddy sees your address but i'm not sure. If you feel uncomfortable and that doesn't work I could always send your buddy your address through a message.

I think if the organizer of the RAOK goes to "Exchange" on Elfster, there should be an "Edit" button that will then give them the option to keep mailing addresses only between exchangers.

Ladies this is going to be very exciting! So far we have 7 signed up!!

Also it would be great if we could have an another international person join so it could save on shipping costs (Bay is our international member)
