Default Need easy tuna noodle cassarole mix minus the cream of mushroom soup?

Ok so I am hungry and am craving something with tuna fish that isn't a sandwich.

I really want to make tuna noodle casserole here's what I have that could be mixed- I looked up some reciepes online but most of them had cream of mushroom soup added and I don't have any.

Milk
Tuna
Little shells (like the ones that come with "shells and cheese")
Sour Cream
Peas
Breadcrumbs
Mayo

What is the simplest reciepe to make this with the stuff I have?

Please give measurements, etc.

I suck at cooking just so you know. LOL

i've made tuna salad, and then cooked some noodles and then just added them in. so make your tuna how ever you like it and then add in the noodles and some seasoning...and voila.

The way I do it is I make bechamel sauce using flour, butter, milk and seasonings. It's really easy. You just melt 2T of butter, whisk in 2T flour and just stir it around for ~2 mins on medium heat. Then you whisk in 1 cup of milk and stir it until it bubbles. Then you can add whatever seasonings you want. I usually use salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.

To my white sauce I add cooked pasta, drained tuna, frozen peas, sometimes a little shredded cheese. Then I top it with bread crumbs and bake it until it bubbles. Sometimes I even do a healthier version with light butter, skim milk, lowfat cheese, and whole wheat pasta & crumbs. It's really good!

Ok so this is what I did...
Cooked the noodles,

2/3 milk
1 cup shredded cheese
2t butter
2t flour

in pot til almost boiling and everything is melted.

3 cans tuna- 1 can peas- stir all this in with the noodles and sauce and then I topped with breadcrumbs.

And it's baking now...

We shall see how it turns out LOL. Like I said I'm not a cook!

You might try substituting non-fat sour cream (tastes great!) and perhaps canola mayonnaise (no or very low cholesterol [can't remember], and pretty low caI have no idea how this would turn out, but you could do an experiment.

Oh, sorry, for some reason I htought you wanted low-cal. "nevermind" ;o)
