Thought I'd post this. I buy kale prewashed and broken up and spread the kale in a oven safe pan. I spray the kale with Pam and sprinkle a little salt on the kale and bake for 15 minutes. It's great. My husband who likes his regular chips eats them up!

I'm intrigued. What does this taste like? I LOVE hummus and pita chips but since I no longer eat pita chips, I've been looking for a crunchy alternative.

I love doing this. Satisfies the salty crunchy craving.
I toss with a little olive oil and salt, you can also sprinkle a little chili powder or parmesan cheese.

Love this idea, thanks! I've gotten the premade stuff at Whole Foods and they are so good, but pricey!

I find olive oil heavy. Is there a way to do it lightly on the kale?

I love kale chips. I toss the chopped kale with olive oil, salt and minced garlic then bake for 15 minutes. Even my kids eat it.

What temperature do you set your oven for baking?

I love Kale chips. I brush with a little olive oil and use sea salt. I can even get my teenager to eat them. Will eat them as a side when we are having hot sandwiches or burgers for dinner rather than french fries.

I just ate Kale for the first time about a week or 2 ago! I did something similar but used olive oil. Also my son, who loves garlic, asked if I could put garlic on it and I sprinkled some garlic powder as well.

Great recipe!
