Default My blueberry creme brulee french toast recipe easy and yum!

This is so good and easy to make. I made this the first time my MIL came over for brunch and won her over

Creme Brulee French Toast

One 24" baguette
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 c. heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
4 T butter
2 c. blueberries

Butter a 13x9 inch dish (pyrex is nice, you can see through it). Cut the baguette into 20 1" slices and arrange in layers on the bottom.
Combine eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, and 3/4 cup of the brown sugar, then pour over bread slices. Let sit for at least 8 hours in the fridge. The next day, heat the butter with the remaining 1/4 cup of brown sugar in a pan till melted, boil on low for about a minute, slightly longer if you want the topping more crunchy. Sprinkle the blueberries over the bread, the pour the brown sugar mixture over. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes till the blueberries burst and the brown sugar is bubbly and hot. Enjoy

Oh good, I'm glad you liked it. If you want it even more rich, I remember the recipe said you can add some cut up cubes of cream cheese to the bread mixture......
