M & m ocd

I had no idea how to search for this topic.

I've only ever run into one other person who admitted to this, and I've never done it with any other food than m&m's. Also, I haven't noticed myself doing it in a while, but for years I did this: When I would eat plain m&m's, I would eat 2 of the same color at a time so I could chew the same color on both sides of my mouth. And, if I was down to the last one of a color, I would bite it in half to make 2 pieces.

Ok, maybe I'm a little bit of a freak on this & my hubby thought it was a little nuts.

How crazy is this & do you have any similar harmless but strange food habits?

I don't eat the orange or cherry skittles or starburst, but I think it's a flavor thing. It's easy to be OCD with candy.

Umm, yeah, you're a spazz....... haha! Only kidding, i could sit here for days and talk about my quirks but i'll spare you.

Regarding the skittles, that is definitely different. It's a flavor thing, so it's almost like a different candy.

there was a girl who sat in front of me in class, she would eat m&ms and skittles, she would line them up by color and eat one from each color. if there was an extra one of a certain color, i observed her throwing it out. it was entertaining to watch..

i'll only eat the brown and blue m&m's, and i only eat the red and purple skittles

With the plain ones, I like to divide the colors and eat two at a time, too. (The either side of my mouth thing doesn't matter to me. I just like them in twos.)

If I end up with four different colors, say - red, orange, green and blue I'll eat the red and orange together and then the green and the blue together.

I do the same thing with Skittles.

I always divide them into colour then eat them in order sort of.. say if theres 4 red blue & green but only 3 yellow and orange i'll eat one of the ones with 4 to even it down so all colours have 3 left them eat one of each! haha.

I eat them with what ever color i liked lease so i can save the best colors for last lol.
