Kraft flavored marshmallows?!?!

yeah i know.. i only eat rice crispy treats once in awhile (and ALWAYS homemade)... I just didn't know if these marshmallows had more artificial/processing than the regular white ones...

Lol. My boyfriend loves rice krispie treats so I told him I was going to make him some with strawberry marshmallows for V-day and he thought that sounded kind of gross so I told him I will just use regular marshmallows and put in some red food coloring haha.

But I went grocery shopping the other day at walmart because I go to school in the middle of nowhere and that's the only supermarket we have. I didn't see the strawberry or chocolate flavored but I did see the toasted coconut.

I think these would be so good with the strawberry marshmallows, but I can't find them around here. All I've found are the regular ones with dehydrated strawberries

I am a fan of just eating them out of the bag. So, I tried the christmas style (trees!) marshmellows from Kraft back in december and they were a let down. They didn't taste like anything and were harder to get down than regular marshmellows.

I am sticking with good ole white ones!

I made strawberry and chocolate crispy treats today and they came out soooooo yummy! I wasn't that impressed with the marshmallows right out of the bag-- I tried the strawberry one right after I brushed my teeth so that was just

, and the chocolate ones were just meh. But when they were melted with the butter and mixed with Krispies they were DELISH

!!!!

Are they pink ones strawberry flavored?? I've had those before and they are good. I havent tried the chocolates yet. It sounds fun, I'd love to make cupcakes for DD's class and put little minny marshamallows on top. Chocolate frosting with pink marshamallows and vanilla frosting with the chocolate ones.

^ Yep, they're strawberry flavored! I used the Rice Krispies that have the real strawberries in them and they came out really good! I don't know if they make mini versions of the flavored marshmallows, but they probably do.

My brother works for nabisco(kraft) and im pretty sure he said they are just seasonal. Hes constantly giving us products and im totally on overload of cookies ,crackers, etc.. lol.. but i think now im going to have to see if i have any of those strawberry ones. The rice krispies treats idea sounds yummy!

Has anyone has the toasted marshmallows? I'm not sure if they are Kraft, but they are covered in coconut to make it taste like they've been toasted! They're way yum if you're into coconut. We had them with chocolate fondue. So good.

The strawberry marshmallows and Rice Krispies with real strawberries made the BEST rice crispy treats! They were a big hit with everyone!!!

I saw these at target also. I went in to buy stuff for rice krispie treats and was looking at the valentine aisle and saw these. I have tried one of the strawberry marshmallows today and liked it. I am making the treats to send my husband overseas. He loves Rice Krispie Treats hope he likes the new ones!

I bought the strawberry flavored marshmallows a few months ago when I saw them at my local grocery store. Didn't end up making any treats because everytime me or my bf would go in the kitchen, we'd grab a marshmallow or two & just eat them like that so they were gone pretty quick.

I will try the strawberry rice krispies next time, they sound delicious.
