This recipe gets rave reviews each and every time I make it

Easiest key lime recipe ever:

One cup of key lime juice
2 can sweetened condensed milk
4 egg yolks

Beat together, pour in graham cracker crust and bake at 375 for 25 minutes.

Top with whipped cream.

I didn't realize it before, but the recipe I have is actually for Cheesecake Factory Key Lime Cheesecake. It's not the same as key lime pie, but it sounds soooo good!

1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
5 Tbsp butter, melted
1 cup + 1 Tbsp sugar
3 8-oz packages of cream cheese, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
3 eggs

1. Preheat oven to 350. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and 1 Tbsp sugar in a medium bowl. Press into the bottom and halfway up the sides of a 8" springform pan. Bake the crust for about 5 mins, and then set aside until you're ready to fill it.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, remaining sugar, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add lime juice and eggs, and continue to beat until smooth and creamy.

3. Pour the filling into the prepared crust, and bake for 60-70 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool. Transfer to refrigerator once it reaches room temp.

^ Ooh I'm going to try that!

I was at Trader Joe's today and I almost bought a Key Lime pie (because of this thread LOL), but then I saw that it had 64 grams of carbs per serving and quickly put it back!!

Here is my recipe that everyone loves......

Frozen Claim Jumper Key Lime Pie, from the supermarket

I do the strenuous work of cutting up some limes and putting them on top!

I have tried and failed making the real stuff. So this is as good as I get.

you can buy it in those little squeeze bottles or if you want fresh you can do 1/2 lime and 1/2 lemon.

^ Thanks! I just wasn't sure if there was a difference between key lime juice and regular juice.

I'm going to make some!

I have a recipe that is not traditional & not very healthy haha, but it turned out pretty well for me. It's great for hot days as it's frozen. Little kids seem to love it as well. It's more of a fun dessert...though, keep that in mind! Hope I remember the recipe right lol...You can lowfat/sugar free ingredients as well for this...

No-Bake Frozen Key Lime Pie

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup Key lime juice plus juice of 2 Key limes
-Zest of 1 Key lime
-1 box (3 oz) lime gelatin
-1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
-1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping such as Cool Whip, thawed
-1 (8 or 9 in.) pre-made graham-cracker pie crust

Directions:

1. In a medium bowl, combine key lime juices and zest.

2. Add in gelatin and stir until dissolved, about 2 minutes.

3. Whisk in sweetened condensed milk until blended.

4. Add in a little more than half of thawed whipped topping and whisk until it becomes a creamy mixture.

5. Pour into crust and freeze for about 7 hours or until frozen.

6. Use remaining whipped topping and slices of key limes for garnish.
