I love them! I'm being VERY careful with shellfish, though. I had two very close calls with rock shrimp and shrimp (and now lobster, as rock shrimp are very close to lobster) but since then I've had clams without any problems. I love my oysters raw with a little lemon on them. Mmm...

I don't like the raw ones, but the cooked ones are good.

Yes yes yes! Oysters Rockefeller is AMAZING. That's the absolute only way I can eat oysters.

the only oysters I really like are buffalo oysters. we had them at a restaurant called 11th Street Dockside in South Carolina. fried oysters tossed in buffalo wing sauce, served on a blue cheese or ranch-filled half shell. YUM.

i don't have any recipe for the TW version, there's also a special sauce, any night market in TW will have more than 1 stand, but not sure if CA have any authentic place. there's also korea version, which is fully cooked w/other seafood, it's pretty good too

I just came back from New Orleans, and tried raw oysters for the first time. LOVED THEM! They are so awesome. My BF and I had a dozen every day while we were there-- talk about addiction!

Raw on the half-shell... Lemon - Tabasco - little bit of Cocktail sauce and then a nibble on a Saltine... MMMMMMmmmm good!! There is a bar in my town that has them every Thursday for 25 cents a piece... We have moved our girls night out to Thurs... we start there every week and the table ends up covered in empty shells... Of course have to have an ice cold Rolling Rock while I am eating them!!
