Love them raw, with cocktail sauce and usually a little bit of extra horseradish! Hate them cooked for some reason.

I love them fried, but I hate the slurpy-ness of raw oysters. I can't eat them without gagging

Me, too!!! I really had a BAD case, too. I hear you are not supposed to eat raw oysters on the month that does not have a 'r', e.g. August...and I did eat it in August... Ever since then, I am afraid to try it... But I miss it!!!

Love raw, fried and oyster soup. We live on a point with a ton of oysters, so sometimes we'll just walk to the beach, crack them open and slurp them up right on the spot. So primative, but you can't get any fresher than that. Other than that, there's a vinegar, sugar and wine mixture I dip them in.
