Default For those of you who cook

Which form of cooking do you do mostly? I once had a bf that refused to eat anything fried. I do about 40% baking and 60% stove top.

I like stovetop because I tend to forget about things in the oven, so I like to see what I'm cooking. Also, I hate opening up a hot oven, hate hate hate it! I feel like I have more control when I cook on the stove. Lately, though, I've started using the broiler more, mostly to make veggie skewers because they are quick and easy and a great way to take advantage of summer produce.

I don't much care for using a microwave to do anything but reheat. I will do most other things.... Grill, bake, broil, saute, deep fry, slow cook.....

If you forget about things that are cooking, use a timer. I have a nice one that has a cord so you can wear it around your neck; very handy if you aren't near the kitchen.

I love to cook and use the stove about 90% of the time.

Everything but microwave.
I only use it to defrost hamburger and the kids use it one in awhile, really I don't think I would miss it if it was gone.
In the winter everything is stove top or baked.
In the summer it's all about the BBQ. I almost refuse to use my oven in the summer, why heat up an already hot house??

I love fried food, but I know its not healthy. We seem to grill a lot lately. I love salmon on the grill.

I like to use the steamcooker (use it to cook potatoes, rice and vegis) - I find it fast and convenient after a long days work.
When I have more time I would use the stove for some more elaborate cooking. I rarely use the oven or microwave and don't do fried food.

In summer I use the grill a lot, and avoid baking at all costs cause the kitchen gets too hot. so it would have to be stovetop and bbq grill. In winter stovetop and baking.

i use the stove top the most...for everything from stir-fry's, curry's, deep & pan frying, etc. oven is mostly for baking cakes and microwave only for re-heating food.

Hubby like to grill especially summertime.

I said Bake- but I really meant Oven. We roast, bake, and broil things mostly. Although, we are going on 4 months without a kitchen so it's been brutal!!!!

Mostly stovetop. I use the oven once in a while when we are having steak, or when I roast veggies. But it is mostly used to make cookies, pastries, etc.
