Default Figured out what to do with bumper crop of banana peppers!

OMG! I fixed something soooo good the other nite! I took a bunch of banana peppers, cut the caps off, de-seeded them, and cut a slit lengthwise. Then I stuffed them with cream cheese, dipped them in cajun seasoned batter and fried them. All I can say is....they were so good I wanted to slap my mama!!! Just had to share...

That sounds incredibly yummy. I am here on tpf and I'm so excited about "the kitchen" i've never been in this room before and I LOVE LOVE LOVE a place to feed both obsessions at once! :) I may try your recipe, but (sadly) I don't have any banana peppers right now. They were fresh and raw, though, not the canned or jarred ones? Just checking.

Yup, fresh out of the garden. Don't think it would work as well with canned ones. If it will ever quit thundering outside, I may go pick some and fix a batch...LOL
