Sorry to whomever I stole the photo from, heheh...green onion pancake (???) on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Also, cold summer noodle! It's a very spicy peanutty noodle dish! Unfortunately, you wreak for days so make sure everyone you are with indulges in it too!!

Also, panfried shrimp dumplings, tempura, eggrolls, crunchy spring rolls, MOO SHU, crispy skin, and general tsos chicken are delightful too! I love asian food.

For Japanese foods, a big bowl of chazuke (rice and stuff in tea), miso ramen (noodles in miso broth) or oyako-don (chicken and egg in sweet sauce with rice). Also, super old 'Chikin Ramen' from back in the day (first instant noodle ever invented). Okonomiyaki ('as you like it' pancake) I wouldn't classify as a 'comfort' food, but it's comforting because it's so easy to make so i'm 'comforted' in the fact that I can throw random foods together and make a meal for the night.

For Chinese foods, I don't have a clue how you'd call it in English. It's like... fermented rice in sweet soup with glutinous rice balls. "Jiu Niang Tang Yuan" is the chinese name. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangyuan). Sticky purple rice porridge is also one of my favourites, and chicken soup with lots of Chinese herbs. Lastly, my dad's dumplings are the best things ever.

For Korean foods, um... soon... du bu ji gae (I don't have a clue how to pronounce or spell it! It's spicy tofu soup with other stuff, I prefer pork, with egg) and shin ramen is probably the best instant noodle invention ever. I serve it with egg.

I also love Vietnamese 'pho' is it called? With the kind of raw beef... best soup ever.

I love this too! Since my dad is chinese he likes it, and it's popular in Korea so that's how my mom started loving it too.

I'm not sure my terminology is correct, but what my family calls 'cold noodles with sesame sauce.' Deliciously spicy peanut-buttery noodles.
I wish i could have it more often, but only 2 chinese restaurants around here have it and i have been unable to find a recipe to make at home that tastes the same..

How hard are they to find?! Seriously, even when I go back to Taiwan, the only place that I feel tastes good is a tiny little dirty roadside stall!

Although, it's probably the scarcity of it that makes it taste even better. I used to loooove Jelly Bellys because you couldn't get them in here, then I found a place that sold them and they don't taste as good as I remember anymore.
