Default Easy french onion rice recipe

Thought I'd share one of my favorite, and easiest sidedishes. Hubby loves this one!

1 1/4 cup long grain white rice
1 can Campbells beef consomme
1 can Campbells french onion soup
4-5 pats of butter
Mushrooms optional

Pour rice into 8x8 baking dish (or equivalent), pour both cans soup over rice, dot with butter pats. Cover with foil, and bake at 375 until liquid is absorbed and rice is done.

This is a favorite in my family, and goes well with any kind of meat.
