Default Does this sandwich sound appealing to you?
Help hubby and I solve a disagreement.

this is the sandwich he took to work today:

Sliced thin deli ham, white american cheese with mayo on white bread with tomato and pepper

the entire combination sounds gross to me, he says I am crazy and lots of people would love that. I told him I was putting up a poll to find out, LOL!

To me, mayo does not belong on ham and neither does tomato, maybe he is right, maybe I am the weird one, lol

Wow. Different strokes for different folks, indeed. Mayo, lettuce, tomato with deli meats is quite the norm here.

Ixnay the tomato and I'm on board. I put mayo on all of my sandwiches. Just don't like tomato in general.

I'm veg, LOL, but it doesn't sound unappealing to me. I used to love deli meat sandwiches with lettuce and tomato.

I'm a vegetarian, so it doesn't appeal to me, but my husband would absolutely eat it. But then again when I met him, he was eating boiled chicken burgers with cream cheese, sour cream, and american cheese for dinner every night. He also puts american cheese on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He cracks me up!:)

Sounds normal to me, though I would substitute whole wheat or whole grain bread for the white.

I agree that it doesn't sound bad. Deli meat with mayo and tomato is pretty standard for a sandwich. I'd swap out the American cheese for real cheese, though!

Totally normal sounding to me as well. But, I like just tomato sandwiches w/ salt, pepper and mayo.
