Absolute favorite dinner, eat it at least once a week. Texas Roadhouse is my favorite place to go. Medium rare

I love a good steak but DH and I are trying to eat healthier. We buy one steak (the best we can get) and share it so we aren't eating some huge slab of beef. I love a good prime rib once in a while but I hardly ever go to the places that have them. Lately, I have been going to a place called Pete Millers and they top the steaks with many different things but I like the ones with bleu cheese.

Years ago, I dated a guy who was a lifelong vegetarian. He wasn't going to be happy until he stopped me from eating meat too. He said every girlfriend he had ever had gave up meat.

He moved away for a job and broke my heart but at least I still get to eat meat because I am certain his wife no longer eats meat of any kind. :)

Ok, now I have to buy some steaks for dinner tomorrow night.

Every once in awhile I'll get a hankering for a good filet mignon, and it has to be cooked well done. Contrary to popular belief a well done steak should never be tough and dry, if it is, the person cooking it didn't do it right!

Rare, or at the most, medium rare. No steak should be over medium rare in my kitchen.

I used to eat it well done too, I'd get disgusted by my DH's medium rare bloody steak but after I tried it and realized it was much juicier, softer and easy to chew I now eat it medium or medium well.

I wish I know how to cook steaks. I am so good with chicken and fish but when it comes to steak I am totally lost. One day I tried to cook steak for my DH since he loves it, EPIC FAIL! poor thing still ate it, Now that's love right there

Ive found the best method to ger resturant quality is to use steaks from Kansas City Steak co. for 10oz filet, thaw night before, get coals white hot, 1 1/2 min each side, then flip only 1 time for 5 min on each side. Dont keep flipping and playing with the steaks like most do

I like my sirloin steak cooked medium, with French Fries, Rocket and Parmesan salad, and Dijon Mustard. Plus a large glass of Merlot!
