Oooooh...I was so excited to see this thread! I am absolutely addicted to cupcakes too!! In my opinion they are "natures perfect food"!! I'm picky though. I only like them w/out any decorations on top. There are two bakeries here in Chicago that I may a run to about once monthly.....YUMMY!!!!

mmm, i love sprinkles. i actually think it's better than magnolia (particularly the red velvet). i discovered another place in nyc which makes these amazing cupcakes called "devil dogs" or something like that. they are a marshmallow topping with chocolate cake.

I think I'll stop by tomorrow... They have limited time only Thanksgiving cupcakes... ginger maple and orange cranberry! Heh, the "limited time" gives me more of an excuse/justification- I tell myself that after all, they'll be gone soon!

YOU ARE TORTURING ME!!! It's only 8 am here, and I'm already thinking about ways to get over to my favorite bakery for a sweet treeat!

Massachusetts had really bad grocery store cupcakes. (The frosting was disgusting.)

The grocery store ones in Toronto are SO much better! (The frosting is vanilla flavored.)

When Starbucks came out with the Sunshine cupcakes I was addicted to those, and when I moved to Toronto, I realized The Cupcake Shoppe was right around the corner from my place!

Their window displays are so cute! I've only tried Pretty 'n Pink
(vanilla butter cake with
raspberry buttercream )

and their Halloween cupcake (chocolate vanilla swirl with orange colored vanilla frosting.)

My parents might send me money to get myself a birthday cake, but now I'm thinking I want cupcakes.

(Maybe they could do the little LV in frosting on top!)
