Default Best Store-bought teriyaki sauce?

Veri-Teriyaki came highly recommended but I found it very watery. More like a marinade than a sauce.

Any recs for a good teriyaki sauce you can throw over chicken?

Thank you!

When I get very lazy, I just do a cup of sugar in a sauce pan with enough soy sauce to make it 'fall apart' over med low heat with a hit of garlic powder and sesame oil and it's done in 5min's, or do it in the microwave. I like it sweet and thick, if you want it thinner then add more soy or mirin. Just so that the sugar dissolves...it tastes better and cheaper too.

OR...if you don't have time to marinade...cook whatever you are cooking and then dip it in the sauce and then serve with extra sauce on the side. I always tend to burn everything that is marinated in t-sauce because of the sugar, this is a good way to avoid it...

Soy Vey is just "okay" or I like the ones from the little ginger people (I think that's the name of the brand) OR the one that whole foods makes in ginger teriayki. I also buy one from vermont which is a maple teriyaki.
