Thinking of getting a Z07615 three eye chronograph. Anyone own a Zodiac? Wondering if this is a good manufacturer?

I've got a Speed Dragon from Zodiac and love it. I've only had it for about a year but it holds up well with me working in an elementary school where my watches usually get banged around.
Even though our watches are different (mine is a sport type), I can tell you that Zodiacs have a good weight to them. They feel like a solid watch. Definitely do your research and check it out in person if you can but I think you'll be pleased if you get one.

Zodiac is manufactured by Fossil Co. So if you happen to live by a Fossil outlet, you should be able to find the same or similar watch for half the price. They also manufacture and carry Burberry, Coach, and Emporio Armani products.
Just be aware that while these are high quality watches, they are no higher quality than other Fossil watches. They are simply machine manufactured in different areas of the world (China for Fossil, Japan for Armani, and Switzerland for Burberry, Coach, and Zodiac) with the same techniques and quality control. You are paying for the name and the design. If you are looking for a fine watch you should try an entry-level priced item, such as a basic Movado or a Costco Baume & Mercier, which will set you back anywere from $400-$1500. By the way, Costco has some VERY nice jewelry and fine watches. And yes, Zodiac watches are high quality utilitarian watches meant for sporting activities. And if you ever watch the movie ZODIAC starring Jake Gylenhaal and Robert Downey Jr., you will see that one of those watches makes an appearance! Lol odd I know. |

I purchased a sea dragon 3 months ago. I loved my watch, however, the bezel on the watch just fell off!!! Im not sper hard on my watches ( I got this to wear in the pool/ocean and go on vacation with. ididn't want to wear my TAG) I took it back to Nordstroms who called Zodiac. The bezel is not covered on warranty and they were going to charge me $30 to replace it and $10 to ship it back to me. The watch is 3 months old!!! I returned the watch to Nordstrom's (they were very nice about it and were stunned themselves that Zodiac would charge me) I will not be buying another Zodiac any time soon.

I had my Zodiac for about at least 15 years & I have not been wearing it for the past few years but I was quite happy with it. I was wearing it practically 24/7 unless I went out, then I wore my nice watches, but I banged it around quite often and it was a great watch. It's now lying around in my jewellery box out of battery but I believe I can still get many more years out of it if I put in a new battery. The problem is I have too many nice watches that I don't bother to wear it anymore. & It's the diver's watch style so it's still the current sport watch style too.

I thought Coach watches were made by Movado? I always see them at Movado outlets but never at Fossil stores. I was admiring a cute Zodiac my friend has, so I have been considering one in a fun color for myself. Keep the reviews coming! |

The first good quality watch I owned was a Zodiac; that was a trillion years ago and the watch is still lovely and still working.
