Lil' Jon scores jewellery world record

Rapper Lil' Jon has been added to the Guinness Book of World Records as the owner of the largest diamond pendant ever.
The hip-hop star's `Crunk Aint Dead' pendant has weighed in as the globe's biggest - it's 7.5 inches (19 centimetres) tall, six inches (15.2 centimetres) wide, and one inch (2.5 centimetres) thick.
The impressive diamond accessory, valued at a whopping GBP2546,400, weighs almost 12 pounds (5.4 kilograms) and features 73 carats of diamonds - 3,756 genuine round-cut white diamonds set in 18-karat yellow and white gold.
Jon, real name Jonathan Smith, says, "I'm glad the Guinness World Records folks acknowledged me and my `Crunk Aint Dead' piece. I spent a load of money on that chain.
"I had no idea I would break a record and be recognised for it. It's an honour... I grew up reading and hearing about people and celebrities who break records in the Guinness world records book and it always fascinated me. Now I'm on the list."
And the rapper has sent out a challenge to his peers to try and top his feat of bling: "Let's just see how many rappers try to outdo my pendant and break my record."

okay, that's just ugly

it looks so tacky, I wouldn't pay $0.50 to wear it around my neck (you know, unless I could prye out the diamonds, melt the gold and have it turned into a whole different piece

)
