Default Where would you wear this?
Hi! This is my first post in TPF even though I have been a loyal reader for quite a while!

Anyway, I wanted the opinion of Tpf'ers regarding this ring that I bought myself a week ago. The ring is 18k white gold, 1.66 pave diamond hearts (G, VS).

1. Is it *too* much to wear casually or is this meant to be a cocktail ring?
2. How much would you pay for this ring?

I simply LOVE the ring I bought but do not want to be over the top

IMO it is not functional for daily wear. It would get in the way and get caught on too many things. Last thing I would want to do is wreck it. That being said, I also wouldn't keep it in the jewelry box and only use as a cocktail ring. Wear it out in the evenings, dinners, parties etc. not just formal occasions.

Price, well that is relative. Depends where purchased, designer, size/cut of the stones and "have to have" factor. Since you love it and bought it, it must have been the right price.

I would wear it on a regular basis as long as im not doing anything with my hands ex: Laundry or something! you could dress it down with some jeans, ballet flats, shirt or dress it up with heels, dress and maybe something trendy like a tuxedo jacket!

I do not think I could wear it everyday.. It would get in the way all the time.
But if you are comfortable with it, you should! Because it is a gorgeous ring, and I do not think that it is too much

When it comes to price I have no idea, there are so many things that influences the price..

I don't think it would be every day, work etc. But to dinner, parties, etc. I would wear it. =)

I agree that this ring isn't appropriate for everyday type wear, it looks more like a 'going out', fancier dress type ring to me.

As far as what I would pay for it... I'd be willing to pay up to $1500. I think that's a fair price.

I wouldn't wear it every day (because it's probably not that comfortable, etc), but I wouldn't have a problem dressing it down at all! I'd wear it with jeans and a cashmere sweater, etc. Enjoy it!

I tried it on my middle finger, but it just seems to look better on the ring finger!
