My mother in law is going to Las Vegas and LA in 2 weeks time and is purchasing me my Christmas pressie from Hubby from Tiffany's over there.
I have looked through the website and there is just so much i'd like but with about $250US budget I have to limit myself. I had a few choices but i'm open to suggestions to. I already have the small and medium Open Hearts, the RTT Heart Toggle Bracelet, Silver Ball earrings, RTT Heart Tag on a ball 16inch necklace. I'm not interested in the Tiffany rings- the silver ones anyway. So that limits it a little. My thoughts were....... one of the heart keys either with or without the diamond. Not sure of size i'd want though. The Bow necklace (either size???) and matching bow earings. The Graduated Bead necklace $225 16.25 inch and balls are 6-11mm- i really like this one to match my earings- does anyone have it??? Could u post a modelling shot please. THANKS. Open to suggestings and would LOVE to see pics of yours of these items. Thanks |

Oooh I got a friend to help me buy from Tiffanys in the US too (for my pressie from my bf)
![]() Since I had a similar budget, I ended up chosing the mini heart key (without the diamond), though I spent ages agonizing between the two... Went to see them both in store and while I liked them both, the heart for the one with the diamond didn't seem as... 'puffed' as I would've liked with that kind of style? I didn't see them up close though. I went for mini since one of my friends already has the larger version, and I'm the kinda girl who wears dainty jewellery pieces which aren't so obvious. Picked up the mini bow necklace for myself too! Looks like we have pretty similar taste :) If you do a search for the heart keys, there are a couple of pictures of people modelling the different sizes and styles around. I can't wait for mine to arrive and will post photos as soon as they do, but it's going to be awhile yet! GL with whatever you choose though- i'm sure it'll be gorgeous either way

How about some of the gemstone Peretti open hearts to wear with the ones you already have?
I also love the mini bean pendant. I think it is $95 in silver. There is something really timeless about it. |

Oh. My. G*d. There's so much! Really. You could even spend less and be happy. Just make sure it's something you'll wear all the time, it sounds like it will be a very special piece to you. Keep it close.
Go to tiffany.com and browse, then look in the store. Contact your sales professional after you've narrowed it down to two or three pieces and try a couple on. I'm sure you'll find something you love. Guaranteed! |

Thanks guys- i think i'm going to have to pop into the Melbourne store and see what i love the most, I want something different to the peices i already own.So maybe i should stear clear of more hearts for now- that rules out the key's though :o( as I don't see myself with any except the heart keys.
I think it needs to be something that is saving a bit of money, though other wise i may as well just get it in Collins Street myself- suppose i should calculate with tax and exchange rate and see what saves me the most :o) What % tax is added at Tiff n Co?? |

I would get a key - that is their new big thing, and they are so nice and different from the other pieces you have. The 2" key is $175, along with a $50 chain (I like the oval link since it is unique to tiffanys). The total would be $225 before tax.
Tiffanys charges whatever the state tax is in the state the store is in. In the US each state sets it's own local tax. Here in California, it is 8.75%, my key & chain came in just a shade unfer $250. I am not sure what the Nevada tax is. I have been there before, and can't recall thinking it seemed unusually high or low compared to what I am used to, so it is probably about similar. |

I vote for a key...you are right, it is their new thing.... maybe get the silver crown key, or the vintage key.... on a lovely oval chain....Maybe on a long chain just to be different than everything you have...

Btw...in regards to the ball necklace... I found the graduated bead to be very dainty... than the 10mm... so depending on your frame, you might want to keep that in mind...

Cheers- DOES ANYONE HAVE THE GRADUATED BEADS SILVER NECKLACE 16.25inch???? (6mm-11mm beads)
Please can someone post a photo? I'm quite petite (after losing 26 kilos this year) i'm 5ft 3 and a Australia size 8 so i think it would suit me- but would like to see it on and not sure if i'll get chance to look in Melbourne bfr my in laws go over. I've looked at the Australia Website and it's $415Au over here so compared to $250US even with Tax and exchange rate should save me $115Au getting it over there. That's BIG difference. Think my other top choice is going to be the bow earings and necklace as a set costing $225US- over here it would be $365AU so again a big saving. Think i'll keep thinking about the key- i'm 30 am i too old for it????? |
