Ladies, please help me to make decision

my DH say i can pick a present from Cartier for my bday, we went to the store to look at what i should go for...
I set my heart for the bangle from love collection...the plain white gold one is 4450, I was browsing on ebay today and found lots of second hand one like 50% less than original retail price...
the 10 diamonds bangle you can get around 6k-7k

now, the question came to me is should i go for brand new one =$4450+tax or used one with 10 diamonds around 6K?

please help!

Honestly, I get very leary of buying fine and designer jewelry off the internet for fear of fakes. For peace of mind, I would buy new from the store. That is just me though.

3ks for your opinion fashion16! I actually found some seller from LA and i can actually go there to look the bracelet.
the only thing im afraid of they say this love cuff should be from someone who loves you....
yes, my DH will buy this for me

if i buy a 2nd hand one twill that be a curse to our love?

I agree.

It's very difficult to pay full retail for something when you see the same thing (or what looks like the same thing) being sold at a discount elsewhere. The thing is, if you buy direct from the boutique then you know that it is genuine. You will be the one to put the scratches and dings that give it character.

There could very well be authentic cartier bangles being sold on ebay.... but really, how can you be sure?

What a wonderful DH you have. For such a high ticket item, I would definitely buy directly from Cartier boutique. Otherwise I would always doubt the authenticity. Even if I had to give up the diamonds and do plain, I would want brand new. I know not everyone feels this way though. There are sooo many fakes - I'd want to be positive I was getting the real thing! Let us know what you choose.
