They're like real diamonds when it comes to cloudiness. They need to be cleaned or they start to look pretty bad. Once you clean them up, they sparkle again.
Also, as with real diamonds, the cut of a cz is what makes the stone look nice. Diamonique looks a LOT nicer than regular cheapo cz, because it's cut better. The Tacori and 100-facet lines from QVC are especially pretty. I had a pair of real diamond studs that I was too scared to wear (I'm good at losing stuff), so I got pricey "simulated diamond" studs. When I lost one of those, I just replaced them with Diamonique 2cttw studs. I was surprised how much they look like my real diamonds (more than the simulated ones did IMO)-- people are always SHOCKED to find out that they're cz. For me they're perfect, because I lose everything and these are super cheap

^^ good to know. I always wondered if they actually looked close at all. I've seen the HSN stuff at an one of their outlets and that looked nothing like the real thing, IMO. I have toyed w/ ordering a pair of earrings for a long time now.

Does anyone know how Diamonique compares to Signity Star diamonds (made by Swarovski)?
I bought a 2ct princess signity and it looks almost the same as my genuine diamond in clarity and sparkle, except the genuine diamond has more of the "liquid ice" look, whereas the Signity has more defined facets within the cz. |

I've had diamonique studs for years and never had a problem with them with daily use. People think they are real.

I have a diamonique "Circle of Love" necklace from QVC set in white gold and I have gotten more compliments on this one piece of jewelry than any diamond I own (and I have some gorgeous diamonds.)
When the diamonique stone is a believable size and set in real gold, no one can tell the difference and they are stunning. But...ya know....nothing beats the "feeling" of wearing a real diamond. |

Agree about HSN!! Their "absolute" line is crap!! I don't think it looks good at all. |
