I love cocktail rings...I only own two but I wear them both ways, casual or formal!

They're a good way to have fun--lighten it up a little. My favorite is my London Blue topaz, big gorgeous stone. It really gets the looks and compliments.
By the way, due to the recession, sales of cocktail rings and costume-like jewelry are way up. It seems that women will spring for a fun piece of jewelry--rather than a whole outfit.

^^Maybe it's b/c most of the clothing out there isn't that great also. I buy more jewelry now and less clothing b/c I'd rather just wear the clothes I already have.

I like cocktail rings and will either wear one as a statement piece or paired with other funky less expensive rings.

I am such a fan of cocktail rings and wouldn't mind wearing them on a regular basis. However I think there are some cocktail-ring designs that are too flashy and would be more suited for special occasions. I think for regular wear the simpler the better.

I love cocktail rings. Mainly I buy rings over any other type of jewelry. However, I do love all types of jewelry. I definitely don't discriminate! LOL! Also, another poster said they buy jewelry more than clothes. I do too! I think that jewelry can change the look of any outfit. I have also cut back on costume jewelry as well. I think coctails rings are more versatile now (not just evening rings). I also agree that the less complex the ring, the more wearable it is in the daytime.

I love cocktail rings. I have seen ladies where large chunky cocktail rings during the day and it looks great, sometimes fun and causal and somwtimes classic and elegant. I personally can't wear very large cocktail rings though because I have very tiny hands...

I agree 100% most of the clothing out there are a first class drag. Everything so dreadful and nothing to emphasize a woman's beauty in an elegant manner.

I love cocktail rings! I think they are so fun! I wore mine to Vegas when I went but I have seen lots of people who wear them just casually.
