I have been invited to a Premier jewelry party and I am trying to decide if I want to go. I have a friend that has several pieces and I really like the look but if it is on the more expensive side for cheaply made jewelry, I am going to pass. If you have some pieces, how do they hold up and what are the pricepoints? Are they comparable to Lia Sophia? (I haven't heard great things about LS and I think they are spendy for costume jewelry.
TIA! Note: I am NOT looking to be involved as a rep whatsoever. |

A coworker of mine had one of these parties and I went, didnt like anything they had at her party, but there was a piece in the catalog that looked cute so I ordered it, w/o seeing in person first. When it arrived one of the stones was chipped. All of their stuff seems very flimsy, lightweight, and basically cheaper quality than you might get at Claires at the mall. I hated what I ordered but her rep went MIA so I couldnt return it. It was an earring & necklace set I paid around $90 for and I couldnt even get rid of it on ebay! Ended up giving it away, total waste. I like fun costume jewelery peices, but really think their stuff is junk, just my opinion. I have had better luck with Lia Sophia, although I also think they are overpriced, their quality is better and at least they usually have "specials" to get stuff half off at their parties, so you can at least get better deals. Honestly though, even half off is a lot for their stuff IMO, if theres something you like check ebay first, it is always on there dirt cheap somehow.

I have a friend who used to sell Premier. I gave a show to help her get started and, for my hostess reward, I received four or five pieces of jewelry. This was about seven years ago.
The jewelry looks as good today as the day I got it. It has a nice weight but is not heavy, the stones are clear and sparkling, the metal has not scratched at all. I think I am wearing a Premier piece almost every day, usually earrings but occasionally a pendant. I do have one bracelet that is a cable style (Yurman look) that has changeable color bands on the end, and this bracelet is fabulous and could be my entire bracelet wardrobe because of its versatility. Unfortunately the style ws discontinued several years ago. So I would definitely recommend Premier. It seems expensive at first, but the quality is top notch and it will last you forever. |

I don't recommend this at all. The jewelry is waaaaaay overpriced and the quality is awful. Some of my pieces were broken when I received them. I had a pair of earrings that started turning green in the box and I never got a chance to wear them. Do not fall for their deals when they say you can get so much off by having a party of your own. You do not get free jewelry, you end up spending more money that you ever would have. This is a multi-level marketing scheme. The jewelry ladies only get promoted by how many people they recruit, not by merit. You can get things at Kohl's or Target for the exact same quality but at a fraction of the price.
