Default wedding band for knife edge classic Tiffany style ring?
I'm just wondering what type of wedding band girls who have the classic Tiffany ring wear? (I'm supposed to be planning the wedding, but the whole thing is so overwhelming that I've decided to look at bling, LOL!)

Tiffany has one that is a knife-edge band which I've tried on, pros it matches my ring perfectly and keeps the look very classic/simple. Con is it looks very wierd without an engagement ring.

Then again, there are the diamond ones. Not sure if channel set looks better or not? Do the diamond cuts need to match.

I love the combination one (round and baguette), i myself have a channel set wedding band and my engagement ring has the same channel set diamonds with a center stone..

I have a knife edge platinum ER and the WB is the matching plain band. I will eventually upgrade to a Michael B. Lace band. It's the only one I've found that, I think, remotely matches the knife edged ER. There's a Michael B. Lace thread here if you do a search, they're beyond gorgeous.

Here's the thread that I talked about before.

Thanks Adriane! Is the Michael B ring more delicate than the Tiffany pave rings? The one with just a few diamonds but with platinum showing, is that the one you mean? I'd love to try it on with my e-ring, have you?

I think the look of a classic solitaire with a diamond band like the first one you posted is so perfect! I also am a fan of the alternating shapes, like the 3rd one you posted. Have you gone to the store to try them on? I know when I went to look for wedding bands the last one, and one I thought I would like the least was absolutely perfect with my ring. I don't have a solitaire so it seemed trickier to find something to work with it. Have fun looking!

what about a pave knife edge band? you can have the look to match and the bling you want.

The simple Tiffany comfort band is really classic next to a knife-edge. I had the 3mm and upgraded to the 5mm band within a year... it's much more substantial!

I also like the asscher/princess channel set band very much!

I was actually wondering the same thing. I have a knife edge but want a diamond wedding band. I think if you go and try them on, the channel set bands look good with the knife edge ER. That's just IMHO.

I like the look of Tiffany's shared-prong wedding band to go with your ring.

Lol, I actually got a channel set diamond band. The second one pictured, it doesn't look too matchy matchy and it adds some bling to my diamond to accent it. I LOVE it!!

I have the 6 prong platinum knife edge setting and with it I wear a prong set diamond eternity band (with diamonds all the way around). I love the look of the two rings together and the band also looks great on its own.

Omg, I thought this post was August 2009, not 2008! Sorry! But I'm glad I found the thread because I was wondering what kind of wedding band to get myself! I'm glad you got the channel set, LeeMiller! I think I'm going to go with that too - I tried on a pave, which I thought I would like, but it just didn't look right to me for some reason, but that's JMHO. The channel set looked nice with the knife edge!

We nearly bought the channel set but I changed my mind at last minute and came home with the shared prong set instead and 2 years on I still LOVE it!

i think it's the 2.2mm width half circle ring
