I have one piece from the Sweet Alhambra collection. I have the MOP butterfly necklace in YG. I think I paid around $900.00.This is a very delicate looking piece. Sometimes I feel like my larger, Vintage Alhambra pieces are "too much" when I am running errands. Hopethis helps!

I have the MOP butterfly bracelet and love it so much! I bought it before the price increase so it was $800.

I am thinking of getting a necklace and here are my two choices:

1. sweet alhambra MOP clover pendent
2. vintage alhambra clover pendent in WG

Please help me to choose! TIA

lemontart, I am same as you thinking between sweet ahambra MOP necklace or vintage ahambra in YG.I also check the vintage ahambra in Yg price $1600 and the SA told me the sweet ahambra is only little bit smaller than the vintage,I never see that in person so I will check it out in the store.thank you!

Thank you Van Cleef fan for this speedy reply. I seemed to have understood that one can have something (intials i guess, given the size) engraved on the sweet alhambra collection but apparently this only goes for the alhambra shape itself, given that that one is meant to have a gold back.

Still intrigued though if the butterfly carries a signature stamp, if anyone can answer please :) Many thanks

one more question, a bit silly i am afraid

i am very intent on buying the butterfly tomorrow, and knowing myself will probably be wearing it all the 24/7 for the next few weeks. Does mop require any special care, i mean can i wear it in shower with soap/shampoo falling on it once/twice a day or is that a no-no ? Would be grateful for any special care advice :) Voilà ! Thanks again.

sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but if you haven't contacted the 800 number - they are extremely helpful.

I called them several times to ask questions as I was a bit intimidated at first to call the boutique itself. Good luck with your purchase!

You are right, I just read about it in the vca catalogue, It is the ID bracelet, the yellow gold face can be engraved

the price was $ 1100 before the May increase

thanks VC fan !

Didn't manage to get the piece Saturday, but will certainly drop by Place Vendôme this week. Engraving is indeed not an option on the butterfly.

So just in case anyone is interested, there is a sweet alhambra medallion oval pendant (950 euros) that can be engraved on the back. I however went for my first choice, which is the butterfly, as of now tightly attached to my neck. Was pleased to see that the collection comes in the same mirrored gorgeous boxes the other lines do :) Youpee !
